The people of Bangladesh have always survived at the mercy of nature. But now the weather is changing. Poverty and overpopulation, coupled with increasingly unstable weather patterns threatens millions in Bangladesh. The cities are collapsing under the weight of migrants and in some slums, live more than 235,000 people per square kilometre. The people of Bangladesh are resillient and have always found ways to overcome adversity. But their ingenuity is increasingly being put to the test as the climate changes.
